Are there really 42 football clubs in Scotland?
There really are. Even more if you include non-league and junior clubs (which we won’t). Here’s a big list of them all, if you don’t believe me.
Crikey. That’ll take ages to get round all of them, won’t it?
Well, when we first started out we did estimate that we’d be able to get through 10 games a season on average, so the whole project should only take about 4 years to complete the set.
And how long ago was that?
That was five years ago.
So we’ve finished then? Hurrah!
Um…not exactly.
Right. But we must be fairly well on, surely. How many have we managed so far?
Well, at the point we started these pages we were on 11.
Ah.
Maybe 12. depends who’s counting (its complicated).
I see. That’s not very good is it?
Not really. But we’re getting there. That’s a quarter down already.
Sure, but at this rate we’ll need another, what, 15 years to finish the lot!
I’d like to think it won’t take that long, wouldn’t you?
I certainly would.
