We talked it over and came to an agreement and decided to meet up in Montrose. On Saturday 15th December. To go to Links Park Stadium and see Montrose FC play Forfar Athletic FC.
One of us came from the south. One of us came from the North. Why we were doing this and what exactly went on we’ll no doubt come to in future posts. if i were the sort of chap to indulge in quick teasers (which i’m not, oh-no, no way…etc) i’d probably hint at something involving staggeringly polite stewards, foul mouthed ballboys, feckless number 11’s and left wingers playing in blue who get all your hopes up by looking like they might be really good but turn out to be all talk and no delivery and end up getting hauled off after an hour leaving you all disappointed with egg on your face and your early predictions scattered in torn pieces on the ground like the sad remnants of a failed 50-50 half time draw ticket…or something.
oh, and cold feet. we’ll probably mention something about the cold feet too, i would imagine.
